In 1993 I gave my heart and life to Jesus Christ and I began serving Him by writing and singing my own songs and witnessing in music ministry at churches, concerts and local events. Over the past 2 years the Lord has called me to prison ministry here at the local prison Northeast New Mexico Detention Facility. I am a sponsor for the "Sons of Light" church inside the prison and work with an exceptional group of dedicated, sold out, Holy Ghost filled men. Never could I have dreamed that prison ministry would be such a big part of my life, but it is and I wouldn't want it any other way. God has been doing some miraculous things in the lives of these men and is pouring out His Spirit as He said He would in the last days. Many are calling on God to save and deliver them from the lives they once lived and are totally sold out to Jesus Christ! It such an awesome thing to see God work in a mighty and powerful way.
I am a member of the Country Gospel Music Association and have recorded four cd's, one a duet album titled, "Sheltered In The Arms of God" in 1998 with my good friend Evelyn Stoddard, and the other, my first solo album in 2001, titled "Not Forsaken" with the first five songs being my originals. My third album titled, "My Life", has ten songs that I have written. The songs on this album are about faith, family and praise to God Almighty. I just released my fourth cd titled, "Let Go" and am so excited about it. All the songs on it are written by me except for one that my friend Jane Soucek wrote and sang on. It is a beautiful song from a beautiful person! All my cd's are recorded at the Johnny Mulhair Studio in Clovis, NM and produced by Johnny Mulhair. What an outstanding talent he has a musician and producer!
I am available to sing and give my testimony at concerts, churches, prisons, benefits and any event where people can hear the good news of Jesus Christ. My message is one of hope and restoration through the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior. My greatest desire is to be a witness for Jesus Christ through the music and testimony that He has given me. I am living proof that God can take something bad in our lives and use it for good and give Him glory in the end. God's word tells us that His compassions never fail and His mercies are new everyday! Friends, God sent His Son to suffer and die in our place. Jesus rose from the dead and defeated death. God saved me from the pit I was in and He has never failed me since my re-birth that day in October of 1993. God offers you eternal life through the Savior, Jesus Christ when you ask Him to forgive you of your sins, you become a new creation from that time on.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says," Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things are new." Isn't that good news! That's what the gospel of Jesus Christ is "GOOD NEWS"!!
